OPENING DAY EVENTS – MONDAY
Opening Events – Coaches Meeting & Mom Meeting
MOMS MEETINGS -
- 11:00 AM - 8u and 10u
- 4:00 PM - 12A & 12B
This will be very brief. You will be getting info about the photographer and setting a time for your team photos. You will also pick up your tshirts, bundles and wristbands that were preordered online.
COACHES MEETING - TEAM CHECK-IN:
- 11:30 AM - 8u and 10u
- 4:30 PM - 12A & 12B
Coaches Meeting will be held at Preston Hood Sports Complex. This will be a very brief meeting. We will be giving you a handout with some rules and needed information. You will also receive your 3 coaches passes and your game balls.
Due to COVID, we won't be having the standard Slide Show and Q & A, but the UIC & Director will be available if you have any questions
OPENING DAY EVENTS - PRESTON HOOD
8U - 10U
11:30-Pin Trading for 8u and 10u.
12:00-10u Team Competition will be at the soccer fields
12:00-8u Individual/team competition fields 1-5.
After 10u completes the team competitions and the 8u completes the individual/team competitions they will switch.
12A & 12B
4:30 -12u Pin Trading
5:00-All 12As and these 12Bs:
Atlanta Premier 08, and Beehives will start with individual/team competitions at fields1-5.
5:00-All the rest of the 12B teams will start with Team competitions at the soccer fields.
All teams participating in the Team competitions must bring a bat for the bat race and a full set of catchers gear.
Teams participating in the individual/team competitions may want to bring cleats for the running event, your bat for the hitting event and your ball glove for the fielding and throwing event.
Wear comfortable clothing because it may be super hot.
We will need a team mom from every team to help with the team competitions. Please report to the soccer fields with your team.
1 coach must participate in the bat race.
No Team Gift Exchange
Due to an abundance of requests and feedback the past two years, we no longer have the Team Gift exchange
LOCATION: Teams will play at parks in Fort Walton Beach and Niceville depending upon the age division and the day. Teams will not play at different locations on the same day unless weather dictates. Age Group Locations will be posted here before the event.
POOL PLAY: Teams will play 3 warm-up pool games on Tuesday & Wednesday. Pool games are optional and many teams choose to opt out of of a pool game to give their families time off before bracket play starts on Wednesday morning. An advanced check-in sheet will be emailed a few weeks in advance and you can let us know .
BRACKET PLAY: Teams will be seeded based on USSSA Points earned throughout the year.
